Hi, my name is Roxanne Larson; Having lived in Wisconsin all my life, I am very familiar with the beauty Wisconsin offers, and I love utilizing that beauty when planning and designing weddings. I come from a very large family and have planned and designed significant events all my adult life. These events included family, relatives, friends, and friends of friends, so having 100 plus people to entertain at any given event is not unheard of. However, the event closest to my heart is planning and designing weddings because of all the beauty, excitement, and emotions swirling around; simply spectacular.

Furthermore, I enjoy working in my community as a poll worker during elections going to nursing homes to bring the elderly their ballots so they can vote. Hello, my name is Oscar Sanchez, founder, and owner of Ambrosia Events, with over ten years in planning and designing amazing events.
Being a business owner, I found myself fascinated with the endless concepts I could develop in designing unique events for corporate and social venues, and working with many outstanding vendors in the planning process made me highly proficient in managing very large budgets of 1.7 million.
When planning an event, I work closely with the venue to ensure my team, and I follow all the rules and regulations regardless of its size, I also have a great understanding of AV production and event technology.

My Culinary Arts degree and working with many fine chefs give me the advantage of understanding the logistics of creating a menu that fits your event, as well as designing exquisite florals and centerpieces, unique sculptures made from ice and chocolate, and building props to create the ultimate event experience.

With more than 15 years of Event Planning experience, Corey Wood joins Ambrosia Events as our Corporate Events Planner.
Corey started his events planning journey around 2007, when he was volunteering for the Midwest Animation Promotion Society Inc. a 501(c)3 in Illinois. While studying at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he continued his passion for event planning, by co-founding the 501(c)3 non-profit, ECPS Inc, which held annual events like Anime Milwaukee. During Corey’s time with ECPS he grew Anime Milwaukee’s attendance from a size of 2,400 attendees to his last year managing the conference in 2019 with more than 10,000 in attendance. Today, the anime event is now a landmark city-wide event in Milwaukee that continues to flourish. In 2013, Corey’s enthusiasm for event planning led him to start his own company, Corgi Events. Corgi Events focused on full-event services including planning and coordination along with A/V rentals in both corporate and social markets across the United States. With Corey’s expertise in corporate and social event planning, he joins Ambrosia Events ready to provide clients with the level of professionalism and creativity they seek for distinctive corporate events.
I am a Wisconsin native who grew up in the Fox Valley area. After high school, I moved to Milwaukee for college. While living and working on the east side, I attended the UW-Milwaukee, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
When I think about the Greater Milwaukee area, I stay here because it offers a variety of things to do. Like many, the summer months are my favorite time of the year to truly enjoy all this area has to offer. When the warm weather arrives you will find me attending local festivals, listening and dancing to live music, and spending time with friends at restaurants with patios. During the winter, I make time to travel to warm weather destinations such as Florida, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
My professional life has been filled with great experiences which have allowed me to become a strong leader. Over the past 10+ years I have worked in corporate management roles focusing on human resources, employee development, and operations for customer service and inside sales teams. I find joy in helping others succeed and one of the main reasons I am passionate about leadership.
Early 2021, I met Oscar through a business organization, where we quickly developed an understanding of each other’s goals and realized working together would be beneficial. With that said, for the greater part of this year, I have been supporting Ambrosia Events with human resources related projects. I also support the business with wedding planning and coordination as needed. My goal is to help Oscar grow Ambrosia Events beyond what he has achieved. Oscar has worked hard to ensure Ambrosia has an excellent reputation. My goal is to help the company to be viewed by the community as a strong employer where employees seek to work, develop, and stay for many years.
Hi! My name is Olivia Smidel and I’ve always had a passion for event planning and design. My very first event was my Junior prom; I spent hours hand painting a cobblestone walkway to bring an enchanted forest to life within our high school gymnasium. To this day, I bring the same enthusiasm, drive, and creativity to every event I am a part of planning.
When it comes to rentals, I take a personal approach to ensure that not only is your experience stress free but above and beyond your expectations. When I am not working I spend my time creating! I enjoy anything that plugs into my creative side including painting, cooking delicious meals, and crocheting sweaters. On my off days, I love to relax with my two cats, Daisy and Dexter.

I was born and raised in Beautiful Managua Nicaragua, and have traveled to many different parts of the country.
I enjoyed playing football and basketball. I’m a family man with two adorable children who are very well-behaved. When I’m away from home, I’m working as the warehouse manager for Ambrosia Events. Being a warehouse manager I am constantly making quick decisions about how to manage all the inventory coming in and going out making sure is clean and well maintained. When I’m not working I like reading about the history of the many places I’ve traveled to and lived.
